Located in Santa Rosa County, Florida, Milton is in the Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent Metropolitan Statistical Area. Incorporated in 1844, the population has recently grown to almost 10,000 people. Known as home to the Naval Air Station Field and home to the local lumber mill industry, the town's name derived from its nick name, Mill Town. Although the climate can be particularly humid, this area is surrounded by beautiful water and gorgeous parks.
